NY Tech Summit to Provide Educational Opportunities for IT and Business Professionals

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 10th annual NY Tech Summit will provide comprehensive educational opportunities for attendees to discover new ways to drive business value through the use of technology. The two-day event will be held from Thursday, June 19 to Friday, June 20 at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona.

“The goal of NY Tech Summit is to provide an ideal atmosphere for IT and business professionals to come together and learn from the industry experts and from each other,” said Peter Belyea, president of the event’s presenting sponsors, TERACAI and CXtec. “We’ve seen interest in this event grow each year, which is a testament to both the strength of the technology community here in Central New York and the need for continued education for organizations to stay up to speed with the latest industry trends.”

NY Tech Summit features 28 classroom sessions and six roundtable discussions on topics such as value-centered IT; process and operational optimization; virtualization and data center; visibility, performance and analysis; cloud; and security. Sessions are held by speakers from a variety of organizations and industry sectors, including Cisco, Harley-Davidson, Inc., Cornell University, Byrne Dairy, SRC, Owens Corning, and more.

“Our conference agenda this year is filled with educational content that will be beneficial for all attendees, from systems engineers and data center architects to C-level executives,” said Renee Duffy, event producer and director of marketing at TERACAI and CXtec. “We’ve worked with an external advisory committee to focus the agenda on how organizations can truly use technology to impact the bottom line and improve organizational efficiencies.”

The keynote speaker will be Dux Raymond Sy, CTO at AvePoint Public Sector. Sy's keynote address will focus on practical steps that enable IT departments to deliver maximum business value and promote lasting business-driven IT adoption.

NY Tech Summit also features a tradeshow with more than 30 technology exhibitors, as well as various networking opportunities.

Testimonials

We have come to NY Tech Summit for four years now and my team and I get a good variety of technical, business, and strategic sessions to complement our work objectives. I like that there is a balance of end users, consultants, and vendors to present and facilitate the sessions. The interaction is candid and engaging, but not a sales pitch. Being a regional conference helps, it is the right amount of time and location for a couple days to reenergize my team and refocus on our objectives. There seems to be quite a bit of peer discussion with a smaller conference, which I like.
