What’s new for 2012 NY Tech Summit?

NY Tech Summit offers comprehensive educational programming, experienced industry speakers and valuable networking opportunities. Check out some of the news things we’re doing in 2012: Vertical Highlight Sessions Dive deeper into the common threads that unite those working in such industries as healthcare, financial services, education and manufacturing. IT leaders in their field will aid in the exploration of challenges specific to their industry during these moderated Vertical Highlight sessions. All New Equipment Demos View a home office demo, data center cabling, virtualization desktop infrastructure demos and more on the trade show floor. Keynote Speaker Scott McKain International business leader and author Scott McKain will talk about customer service as it relates to the delivery of information technology services both internally and externally. His latest book, “Collapse of Distinction” was named by thirty major newspapers as one of the “Ten Best Business Books” of the year. Networking Reception This year’s networking reception will be held June 21 from 5:00 PM  – 8:00 PM on the trade show floor, so you can continue to meet with vendors, view product demonstrations, network with other attendees and enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.

We have come to NY Tech Summit for four years now and my team and I get a good variety of technical, business, and strategic sessions to complement our work objectives. I like that there is a balance of end users, consultants, and vendors to present and facilitate the sessions. The interaction is candid and engaging, but not a sales pitch. Being a regional conference helps, it is the right amount of time and location for a couple days to reenergize my team and refocus on our objectives. There seems to be quite a bit of peer discussion with a smaller conference, which I like.
